Road to CTA
First step has been made
Over the past months I have been thinking how to sequence progress. After the last year month effort to reach mulesoft Certified Developer and picking up on the Lightning Field Service certificate, it was time to refocus.
Where there is the option to horizontally expand towards Marketing or CPQ and Velocity, there is still room to vertically grow in the architect area as well. On the Mulesoft side there is certification in Integration Architecture. On Salesforce side there is the ever interesting CTA.
Following is the plan running:
- Sign up and start off personal coaching on the Salesforce side
- Mulesoft Certified Integration Architect Training
- Mulesoft Certified Integration Architect exam
- Plan personal coaching over the course of 2020
- Gradually improve my skills, presentation techniques and take and retake CTA mock exams
- Sign up for CTA exam early 2021
the start
I am very much aware that it takes many months big focus to succeed CTA, so lets start planning that first. How better to do this exercise then together with somebody that did it before…successfully!
Over the past months I was looking for some coaching options and have been following FlowRepublic. Seb’s approach has been intriguing me. He did try and he did make it. He seems to be able to explain things well and made it his business to coach others.
I registered at FlowRepublic and got some goodies immediately:
- A sample mock exam (small version)
- An invite to sign up for his 30 day Youtube “question of the day”
- A promise to a “gift” when you did all 30 days
Well, 30 days of Youtube clips later looking at Seb explaining a topic calmly….the present was….an invite to a group mock exam!
Today was the day, so tomorrow I will write a short summary of how it went. See you then!
